Brixton Fencing Club is at the heart of a community of fencers of all ages and abilities in South London. The club specialises in epee. We provide fencing classes for beginners, advanced epee training and one to one coaching for intermediate and expert fencers. Club sessions are held at Brixton Recreation Centre. Brixton Fencing Club also offer fencing lessons in schools in Lambeth.
Tyler Lucas and Adam Whitelaw win silver and bronze at Surrey Youth Championships
Tyler Lucas and Adam Whitelaw, who have just been selected to fence for England in Poland this year, took silver and bronze respectively at this year's Surrey Youth Championships. Tyler narrowly missed Gold (14:15) in the final! Congratulations both.
Brixton fencers selected for Junior Commonwealths, the European Championships and three under fifteen fencers with England
This week Brixton Fencing Club learned that Paul Sanchez Lethem has been selected to fence for England at the Junior Commonwealth Championships. A great result Paul - well done. In a normal week that would have been enough - but we also learn that Tom Curran Jones has been selected for the European Cadet Championships later this year. Finally three of our under fifteens have been selected to represent England in Poland. Well done Adam Whitelaw, Tyler Lucas, and Aml Sinclair. Great results for all fencers.
